Service Description

Enroll in our immersive therapist training course designed to equip therapists with the skills and knowledge needed to effectively support trauma survivors in resolving traumatic events using Multichannel Eye Movement Integration (MEMI). Innovative methods, based on neuroscience, to process traumas quickly, gently and definitively. MEMI (Multichannel Eye Movement Integration) is the evolution of trauma therapy: ✨ It does NOT require reliving or describing the trauma ✨ FASTER than EMDR (often results in 1-3 sessions) ✨ Safer (zero retraumatization) ✨ IDEAL for previous therapeutic failures How MEMI Works Use the entire field of vision to facilitate neurobiological processing: 1️⃣Deactivate the amygdala 2️⃣Interrupts dysfunctional neural patterns 3️⃣Reconstructs memories safely 4️⃣Restores somatic resources Advantages for professionals: ✅ Burnout protection: Zero secondary traumatization ✅ Documented clinical efficacy: Standardized protocol ✅ Versatility: PTSD, anxiety, phobias, complex bereaved ✅ Speed: Short sessions, long-lasting results Course Contents This course presents the history of Multichannel Eye Movement Integration (MEMI), from its origins in the Eye Movement Integration procedure (licensed by its creator Steve Andreas for adaptation and derivation) of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) to its current form of effective and multifunctional therapy for PTSD and minor trauma. Unlike other therapies based on eye movements, the origins of MEMI are clear, its procedures are simple, and the therapy is easy to learn and use. Participants will receive practical instructions on the use of MEMI: 1. theoretical model; 2. step-by-step procedures; 3. scripts and suggestions for therapists; 4. basic eye movements; 5. sequences of eye movements; 6. worksheet for recording progression and results of the session; 7. strategies to stop the client's abreactions and reinstate calm; 8. evaluation techniques (Intensity Scale, SUDS and PTSD Checklist for DSM-5 (PCL-5); 9. Tips about adopting a somatic-sensory therapeutic approach (vs a verbal approach) 10. Suggestions for the treatment of phobias, substance abuse and other types of adversity.
